Dr Ubaid Illahi is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Sligo. Before joining ATU Sligo, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering at Trinity College Dublin, where he contributed to an interdisciplinary project called TRAnsport Behaviour Change Trials (TRACT), funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). With a PhD and MTech in Transportation Engineering and Planning, and a BTech in Civil Engineering, Dr Illahi is committed to advancing the fields of safe, green, and sustainable transportation. His research centres on the intersection of human behaviour and the mobility of people and goods, focusing on developing innovative strategies for sustainable transportation planning and policy.
