Talha Meraj is a Ph.D. scholar at Atlantic Technological University, Sligo, Ireland, under the supervision of Dr. Saritha Unnikrishnan, with co-supervision from Dr. Michael McCann and Dr. Ian Overton. He specializes in deep learning and medical imaging, with over five years of research experience and 23+ publications, including an oral presentation at MICCAI 2024. Talha holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Gujrat and COMSATS University Islamabad, respectively. He contributed to a Google-funded project at ITU Lahore, developing AI tools for blood cancer analysis, and actively serves as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences in medical imaging and computer vision.
