Gordon Hegarty is a PhD student in Mechatronic Engineering at Atlantic Technological University Sligo, working with Konrad Mulrennan, Marion McAfee, and Philip Long. Their research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Control Units, and Testing and Validation. Before this, they completed a BEng (Hons) in Electronic \& Computer Engineering at Atlantic Technological University Sligo. Their current work explores using artificial intelligence to test and validate electronic control units.
