Ian is a Senior Lecturer at ATU with a focus on computation and mathematics. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from NUI Galway, supported by funding from the Irish Research Council. His experience spans both academia and industry, having held positions at UCD, NUIG, Aon, and IBM Research. In 2014, he was a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University, and in 2018, he received a President’s Award for Teaching Excellence. Ian actively collaborates on research projects with both academic and industry partners in Ireland and abroad.
