Dr. Dinesh Babu Duraibabu is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronic Engineering at Atlantic Technological University, Sligo. He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Limerick, where he also completed his Master’s (MEng) in VLSI Systems. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, India. He was awarded the Irish Research Council’s Postgraduate Enterprise Partnership Scheme scholarship under the International SmartOcean Graduate Enterprise Initiative (ISGEI), as well as a Faculty of Science and Engineering scholarship from the University of Limerick. His research focuses on sensors, underwater and aerial robotics, autonomous vehicles, optical fibre sensors, and industrial automation.
